Wonder Woman broke records upon its release when its $100.5 million opening weekend made it the best debut for a film directed by a woman in the history of the box office.
That’s amazing and everything, but Wonder Woman is hardly through with making history and is making a point to make alllllllllllll the money — dollars, euros, yen, you name it — as it’s now got a shot at becoming the top-grossing film helmed by a female director ever.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wonder Woman has clinched the title for the box office champ as far as live-action films goes: Thanks to the fact that it crossed the $600 million mark on June 21, Wonder Woman is the top-grossing film shot live and in the flesh. If it keeps up its momentum, the likelihood of it unseating Kung Fu Panda 2 as the top-grossing film by a female director, period, is pretty solid, as the animated sequel grossed $665.7 million following its 2011 release.

The Pear Company
The Pear Company was a parody of the Apple Company that sold PearPhones, PearBooks, PearPads, and, of course, iPears. The fake company even parodied itself, showing off a BananaBook on an episode of Sam & Cat.
Forget the GameCube. Josh’s grammy sent him the coveted GameSphere as a gift on Drake & Josh, and we’ve been wanting to play that bad boy since 2004. It’s spherical! SPHERICAL!

Nifty Shades of Beige
While Gibby’s brother, Guppy, hung out at Funk E. Fester’s — a parody of Chuck E. Cheese’s — and waited for Spencer to quit goofing off on iCarly, he started reading Nifty Shades of Beige. We’re not his parents, but that Fifty Shades of Grey knockoff seems a tad inappropriate for a kid.

Less than one-third of Americans support President Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw from the Paris climate accord, a new poll shows, and just 18 per cent of respondents agree with his claim that pulling out of the international agreement to reduce carbon emissions will help the U.S. economy.
The survey conducted by the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research earlier this month found that a slim majority – 52 per cent – worry that withdrawing will actually hurt the economy. Twenty-seven per cent think it won’t have an impact either way.
But digging deeper into the numbers shows a sharp partisan divide on global warming, with Republicans more likely to align themselves with the president’s views.
Seventy-eight per cent of Democrats think withdrawing from the Paris agreement will hurt the national economy. Among Republicans, just 24 per cent think it will hurt, 40 per cent think it will have no impact and 34 per cent think it will help. please read on —>
